A person who appropriately uses time always has a good result. The same happened with Alex and Olivia. When their annual exam reached.

Alex: Are you still studying? Let’s eat food.

Olivia: My Project is about to end. If I don’t complete it, the teacher will reprimand me. And the exam will also start the following week.

Olivia was a very hard-working girl. She knows better the best use of time. While her brother Alex was a bit careless and mischievous kid. He postponed every task till tomorrow.

Olivia: Did you complete your Project?

Alex: Isn’t it too early? The Project will be delivered in the sixth period while in the second period. I will do it quickly. Now please swiftly come; I am starving and want to play after food.

Olivia: Hye, listen, dear brother, if you don’t complete, the teacher will scold you.

She remained shouted, but Alex didn’t listen to her sister and left her.

Their parents always gave an example of Olivia to their son Alex

Parents: Look, dear Alex, You are grown up now; along with the study, you have to focus on overstudies as well.

Alex: Yes, Mom, I will surely do it from tomorrow.

Parents: Alex, learn from your sister how she makes good and proper use of time. Look! She studied on time, and she played on time. She never postponed today’s work to tomorrow.

Alex: You will see; I will do the same thing from tomorrow. Shall I go to play now, please?

Alex was getting more careless day by day. And finally, examinations days arrive. There were only two days left in Olivia and Alex’s examinations.

Parents: Dear kids, from the following Monday, your examinations are going to start, right? Focus on your exam and do well in the exam. Alex, I am worried about you. You always postponed your work. Don’t postpone your studies. Like Olivia, learn all the lessons in time. Alright?

Alex: Oh, Dad, there are still two days left for the exam. I will learn everything quickly. I am going to play now. I can’t concentrate on my studies if I can’t play.

Alex left the room, passing her sister’s room; he saw her studying.

Alex: Look, Olivia, how pleasant the weather is outside. Come on, let’s play for a while. We can study even later. Studies can be done in a jiffy.

Olivia: Yes, the weather is undoubtedly pleasant, but I have to complete my lessons.

Alex: It is so much fun playing in this weather. You keep studying; I am going to play.

After a while, Olivia saw that the pleasant weather was gradually changing into a thunderstorm, and dark clouds appeared as if it could rain anytime.

The possibility of rainfall made Olivia worried. She thought about how she could complete her studies if it started raining. Because during rainfall, power is often disconnected. She called out to Alex.

Alex: Dear Alex, listen.,It looks like it is going to rain. Maybe there will be a power cut at night. Stop playing, come and finish your lessons. Otherwise, what will you write for the exam tomorrow?

Alex: Don’t worry, Olivia; it is still noon; at night, I will sit and finish it quickly. Power won’t be cut off. Instead, after the rain, studying will be more fun. I will go now; it’s my turn to bat.

Alex kept playing till late evening. But he got concerned when it suddenly started raining. Alex panicked and returned home. He saw that at home, and the entire village had no power. Seeing this, Alex began to cry bitterly.

Alex: What I will do during the exam tomorrow? I didn’t even learn a single lesson. And now there is no electricity. I will surely fail.

Alex continued crying.

Olivia: Didn’t I tell you to learn your lesson on time?

Dad: I told you one week ago to study on time. But you didn’t understand anything. NOw face the consequences.

Alex: (Crying) Sorry, Dad, what do I do now? I wis I had read my lesson at the right time.

He understood that he didn’t have time to study anymore because of his carelessness.

Olivia: Cry isn’t going to help. Now, do you realize why everybody uses to lecture now? Now stop crying and come with me. I have completed my studies well in time. I will explain the whole syllabus to you and help you memorize them.

The next day, both the kids went to school happily.

MORAL: Those who respect time, get success in their life.
